Testimonials

I started my consultations with Garima about a year ago. She has a warmth and approachability that made it so easy to talk to her and try and figure out together what the root cause is. She did a very thorough consultation where I felt seen and heard. My initial issue was regarding my acne. She took her time to analyse the different factors and what tests and treatment are required. We quickly realised that there are a lot of inner complexities and my issues are not just ‘skin deep’.

Aside from her wonderful manner she is a fountain of knowledge quickly adapting her skills and asking exactly the right questions and ‘hitting the nail on the head’ with her diagnoses. The combination of Ayurveda and functional medicine made all the treatments she offered extremely effective, well thought out, evidence based and much more importantly, personal to me and my biology.

These type of treatments are not simple and quick and it is a process that requires a lot from her clients too to maintain and understand in order to keep up with treatments. She is always available with help and support which makes the process that much better as it happens. Wishing you well in your journey with Garima. You will surely learn so much about yourself in this process.

When I met Garima I had chronic IBS, how I ate something in half an hour was out, headaches, joints pain, ears aching, I became tired walking or step up the stars, sadness was my friend.

Garima made a plan to recover me from all this symptoms. And it’s worked. It is true that was not easy to change my diet. But was only for 4 months.

Now my stomach is flat, my legs are walking faster, my joints are free for moving, no headache, no tired on step up the stairs, I loose 6 kg, no aching ears, positive feelings and future plans, and wishes to grow spiritually.

On the talking sessions Garima have the power to make you to feel psychological better and to give you a hope that you will be better soon. She not rushing to finish the session and is that doctor which treat you with and from her heart. Is not greedy for money and very understanding and flexible.

Thanks to Universe that I met her and fixed my health problems.
I recommend Dr. Garima Patel from all my heart.

The Story Behind Shriasha

Growing up in India, Garima was fascinated by the way traditional approaches such as Ayurveda helped people support their health and wellbeing. She saw first-hand how families often turned to these approaches for chronic health concerns, particularly when access to modern healthcare was limited. Witnessing the positive impact these traditions had on people's lives sparked an early interest in health, healing and the human body.

Driven by this curiosity, Garima went on to study Ayurvedic Medicine at one of India's leading medical institutions, completing a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS). Admission was highly competitive, and the training was both rigorous and comprehensive. Alongside traditional Ayurvedic principles, she studied modern medical sciences, gaining a unique appreciation for how different systems of healthcare can work together.

After moving to the UK, Garima continued practising Ayurveda and supporting individuals with a wide range of chronic health concerns. Over time, however, she recognised an important challenge. Many people were interested in natural approaches to health but found it difficult to fully understand or connect with Ayurveda in its traditional form.

Her perspective evolved further while working within the clinical research team at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre. There, she gained a unique insight into modern healthcare, observing leading oncologists continuously evaluating research, evidence and emerging treatments in the pursuit of better patient outcomes. This experience reinforced the importance of curiosity, critical thinking and evidence-informed practice.

Inspired to bridge the gap between modern science and holistic wellbeing, Garima began exploring Functional Medicine, nutrition and naturopathy. Under the mentorship of a Functional Medicine practitioner, she completed further professional training in Functional Medicine and integrative nutrition-based approaches.

As her knowledge expanded, she discovered that combining the wisdom of Ayurveda with Functional Medicine, nutrition and lifestyle-based support created a more practical, personalised and accessible approach for many of her clients. People began responding not only to the care itself, but also to a deeper understanding of how digestion, inflammation, stress, nutrition and lifestyle can all influence long-term wellbeing.
